About the instructor

Dr. Rebecca Anderson began her love for horses and driving at a very young age.  Her grandfather drove a stage coach at an amusement park, and her grandparents taught her to race Harness ponies.

Dr. Becky(what her students and friends call her) began driving at the young age of 8 and racing at age 10.  She was training horses by the age of 12.

Dr. Becky became a veterinarian out of her love of animals, especially horses.  She graduated from Kansas State University Veterinarian School in 1976.

Dr. Becky drives her carriages commercially in weddings and other special events.  She has been in countless shows, parades, festivals and is always there to deliver Santa on his appointed rounds.

Dr. Becky is a passionate member of the American Driving Society, Carriage Association of America, Carriage Operators of North America, New Mexico Carriage Association, Enchantment Driving Society, and the Arizona Driving and Carriage Association.

Dr. Becky wants to share her knowledge with all who love horses and want to experience this equestrian sport of driving.

Dr. Becky's excellent teaching style makes learning how to drive a horse, fun and easy.
